The Diversity and Inclusion Oversight Board (DIOB) serves to strengthen and streamline oversight of diversity and inclusion initiatives. The DIOB assesses progress related to goals set forth in the university-wide Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP).
The DIOB will be co-chaired by the Vice President for Institutional Equity and Diversity and one of the faculty committee members.
Its faculty membership will include the Chair of the Committee on Faculty Equity and Diversity or designee faculty members.
Student membership shall include undergraduates, graduates (both Ph.D. and Masters), and medical students.
Staff membership consists of a representative from the Staff Advisory Council. Three ex-officio (non-voting) members serve on the committee from the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity, the academic DDIAP review committee, and the administrative DDIAP review committee.
